Top Ten Tuesday #8 – Books I Could Re-read Forever

top ten tuesday

Hey guys! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, which is currently being run by the lovely Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl.  We knew instantly that we wanted to take part in this weekly meme because both of us love making lists, so this is perfect!

This week’s (January 1st, 2019) topic is:  Best Books I Read in 2018. We already did a post on this and you can check it out Here!  We decided to pick another: Books we could re-read forever

Since there are two of us running this blog (Melanie and Mireille), we’re going to break these memes up between us and each pick five!

TTT

My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brody Ashton & Jodi Meadows
It’s not secret that I’m low key obsessed with this book.  The humor is spot on and so much fun and I adore the two leads.  I’ve only read this twice so far but I know I’ll be reading it many more times in the future.

A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas
Yes, I know – everyone groan! I can’t help it! I’m trash for Maas and I eat this series up!

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
This might be a bit of a strange pick but I honestly love this book.  For me it’s the perfect palette cleanser book when you’ve been reading too much epic fantasy.  The banter in this book is A+

Hypoerbole and a Half by Allie Brosh
This book is ME.  I’m sure thousands of people who have suffered with depression and anxiety will find themselves in this book.  It’s one of the funniest and most poignant books I’ve ever read on depression.  Thank you Allie.

The Wayward Children Series by Seanan McGuire
If you haven’t read this book, GO READ IT NOW.  I almost didn’t read this one and I feel like my life would be less if that had happened.  Some of the best rep for LGBTQIA+ I’ve seen as well.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I never get tired of this story no matter how many time I read it or watch the movie. I just need Darcy in my life.

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
Is anyone surprised? I love this book so much, I am planning a re-read closer to September just before Darkdawn comes out.

Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Who doesn’t love these. I need to re-read them soon. It’s alwasy so much fun to revisit this universe.

The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman
I read this series recently and absolutely adored it. I always love stories that has magic and takes you on a journey to far away lands.

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas
This series is pure fun. Nothing else to say.
