I’m a few days late on this wrap-up, but I really haven’t gotten into a good schedule yet since being back. Hopefully, that will come. May was a good month overall for reading – I didn’t read a million books but pretty much all of them were great reads. We did our yearly Middle-Grade Mayhem event in TBR and Beyond and it went wonderful (my team won!). I’m always really excited for the event because I get to share my love of middle-grade with everyone and hopefully convince some people that are on-the-fence about giving it a try! Alright, let’s get this wrap-up moving.
I hosted a read-a-long for the entire Wayward Children Series up until now. Yes, they all got five stars.
Every Heart a Doorway (my third re-read) *****
Down Among the Sticks and Bones (second re-read) *****
Beneath the Sugar Sky *****
In An Absent Dream *****
Come Tumbling Down *****
Middle-Grade
The Secret Deep by Lindsay Galvin ****
Sweet Pea by Julie Murphy ****
Ghost Squad by Claribel A. Ortega *****
Scritch Scratch by Lindsay Currie *****
The Ghost and the Girl by Hanna Alkaf *****
Oddmire: The Unready Queen by William Ritter *****
Have you read any of these books? What did you think? Let me know in the comments below!

I am on the hunt for a copy of Ghost Squad. It looks so good! I saw Claribel speak at the Bronx Book Festival along with a few other authors whose books I added to my to read list.
