Can’t-Wait Wednesday #24

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally, they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine.

The stunning sequel to instant New York Times bestseller, Wicked Saints!

Darkness never works alone…

Nadya doesn’t trust her magic anymore. Serefin is fighting off a voice in his head that doesn’t belong to him. Malachiasz is at war with who–and what–he’s become.

As their group is continually torn apart, the girl, the prince, and the monster find their fates irrevocably intertwined. They’re pieces on a board, being orchestrated by someone… or something. The voices that Serefin hears in the darkness, the ones that Nadya believes are her gods, the ones that Malachiasz is desperate to meet—those voices want a stake in the world, and they refuse to stay quiet any longer.

In her dramatic follow-up to Wicked Saints, the first book in her Something Dark and Holy trilogy, Emily A. Duncan paints a Gothic, icy world where shadows whisper, and no one is who they seem, with a shocking ending that will leave you breathless. – synopsis from Goodreads

Wicked Saints was one of my favourite books this year and I cannot wait to get the next one. I need to know more about my boy Malachiasz.

Is this on your TBR for 2019?

Expected Publication: April 7th, 2020

  1. I’ve already added it to my TBR! (Even though I haven’t read the first book yet…lol) In my defense, it was very difficult to actually get it, the website I usually order from didn’t have it in stock for the longest time, but finally it should arrive today!!! I’m so excited 😀

  2. Wicked Saints is new to me as is this one, but if they involve magic, I am totally in! I am adding this and Wicked Saints to my wish list. Thank you for bringing these to my attention. Have a great week and happy reading!
