How is it August? It’s all going by too fast people! Neither of us are participating in any read-a-thons this month. We are just working on the summer board game going on in the Facebook TBR group.
Last month I was quite sick and my reading just got put completely on the backburner. I am not going to be crazy ambitious this month, but we’ll see how it goes overall. I have some physical arcs that I MUST get to and a couple earcs that I really should as well. Those will be my top priory this month. A couple will likely change around.
Ironside by Holly Black
Slay by Brittney Morris
The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
Sanctuary by Caryn Lix
Containment by Caryn Lix
Don’t Say A Word by Amber Lynn Natusch
Remember Me by Chelsea Boulski
All The Things We Do in the Dark by Saundra Mitchell
Arlo Fitch and the Valley of Fire by John August
Wundersmith by Jessica Townsend
Beyond the Black Door by A.M. Strickland
Dear Haiti, Love Alaine by Maika Moulite & Maritza Moulite
Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff
Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven
Do you guys have any of these on your August TBR? If you have read any of these what did you think? Are you participating in any challenges this month? Let us know what your TBR looks like for next month.
Melanie–I’m looking to read Slay and Ten thousand Doors of January this month, too! I hope they work out for both of us! Also, I should really get to Godsgrave before book 3 drops… 😀

Ten Thousand Doors of January sounds so magical and whimsical and perfectly fascinating. I love the cover art; especially the color palette and font. It just fits each other so well. Happy reading in August!! c:

Looking forward to what you think of Remember Me. I got a surprise copy last week and I’m super curious about it. I’m doing the blog tour for it, but didn’t sign up for a review because of the time.
Don’t Say A Word was awesome. Dear Haiti was decent, but not my favorite (the formatting was bad though). I hope you both enjoy your books this month!
