I was tagged by Leelynn @ Sometimes Leelynn Reads to do the Buffy the Vampire Slayer book tag. If you are not following Leelynn, go follow right now. I’ll wait here while you go do that. Oh good, you’re back! Melanie and I are huge Buffy fans, we grew up on it. So I am super excited to do this one.
Immediately my mind goes to superhero. One of my top superheroes is Squirrel Girl. Doreen is such a great, fun, positive character. And she talks to squirrels.
Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bones isn’t like a “proper” witch but I’m sticking with her.
Anyone who read Nevernight knows that Mr Kindly brings the sass. I just love the banter between him and Mia. He always has the best comebacks.
They are not the perfect siblings but Felicity and Monty from The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue are probably my favourite. I love how in the end they are there for each other even if they don’t always see eye to eye.
Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Daniela from We Set the Dark on Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia
Warner from Shatter Me is the ultimate redemption story.
For this one, I choose Cricket from Lifel1k3. This character is not per se a parental figure but it’s a bit like the conscience.
Malachiasz from Wicked Saints was one of these characters where you never know which sides he’s on.
There are so many choices but I have to go with my boos and because the sequel is coming out in two months: Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I love this book with all my heart and can’t wait to meet up with Simon and Baz again.
And now for the tagging, who shall I choose:
