The Secret Garden by Frances Hodges Burnett
This is the first book I thought of when I thought of spring.  Maybe because it’s all about a young girl that finds this special garden and starts slowly bringing it to life again.  A lot of this takes place in the springtime.

Simon vs the Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
Spring feels like the time that you grab for some fun and beloved contemporary novels and what is more beloved than Simon? I read this for the first time and fell in love with Simon, his secret crush Blue and all of his wonderful friends.   Once you’ve read the book, the movie that was released last year is the perfect thing to accompany this.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Ok, this is one I haven’t read but it still feels like the perfect book to read in the spring.  You get geek life, college life and some sweet romance, sounds like a spring read to me! I think I might pick this one up soon actually!

My Lady Jane by Cynitha Hand, Brodi Aston and Jodi Meadows
I would recommend this one anytime of the year honestly, not going to lie.  However, this takes place in the warmer months of the year and even though it’s fantasy/historical fiction – it’s not at all heavy and doesn’t take itself too serious.  It’s the perfect fun read for going into the warm weather!

Ivy Aberdeen’s Letter to the World by Ashley Blake Herring
This cover screams spring/summer vibes and the story also does.  This is a precious and important middle-grade novel about a young girl coming to terms with her sexuality and her first crush.  There is a lot of about school, friends and family.  This one brought a few tears to my eyes, I have to admit.

Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend
I think spring is the perfect time to grab some middle-grade and give it a shot.  If you are a Potter fan, than you NEED to add Nevermoor to your TBR.  No, this isn’t a copycat but it will give you those wonderful, magical vibes that you got when you read Potter for the first time.
