Hey guys! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, which is currently being run by the lovely Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl. We knew instantly that we wanted to take part in this weekly meme because both of us love making list, so this is perfect!
This week’s (March 19th, 2019) topic is: Books On My Spring 2019 TBR
Since there are two of us running this blog (Melanie and Mireille), we’re going to break these memes up between us and each pick five!
The Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
I’m so excited for this one, I plan on reading the arc very soon. I adored Enchantment of Ravens and Margaret is coming to the TBR and Beyond group is July!
Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman
I mean what is there to say? Illuminae series is one of my faves of all time – so glad this dynamic duo is at it again!
The Tiger at Midnight by Swati Teerdhala
Another author that will be visiting the TBR and Beyond group (in May) and the book looks freaking badass!
Descendant of the Crane by Joan He
Is there a more beautiful cover than this one? I think not! I can’t even go into how excited I am for this and I am living with all the various new fantasy books we are getting with various cultures. Thank you to the book gods! Joan will also be visiting the TBR and Beyond group in May!
Finale (Caraval #3) by Stephanie Garber
This is my most anticipated book of the year. I know the series is fairly polarizing but I’m in the love group and I am dying for this book to get into my little grabby hands. I ordered the special edition box that Owlcrate Book Box is doing and I’m so happy!
Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan
Really excited about this one since a lot of people I know have read it and compare it to Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse.
The Waking Forest by Alyssa Wees
The cover is so gorgeous and everything about this story is appealing to me, plus I think it’s a standalone which I’m really happy about.
A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
Umm Beauty and the Beast retelling, need I say more?
The Tiger at Midnight by Swati Teerdhala
I am so here for this one. It’s been from the start on my most anticipated list, I’m just so excited for it.
Descendant of the Crane by Joan He
Yet another one that sounds amazing and they my friends are raving about. Can’t wait for it.
What is on your Spring TBR?
Love that a B&TB re-telling makes your list! I haven’t read this one, but did recently add it to my shelf, so hopefully it’ll be an entertaining read. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland.

Descendant of The Crane and Finale were both on my list this week. Sadly I didn’t enjoy A Curse So Dark and Lonely as much as I hoped, but I hope you enjoy it more!

I’m so excited for The Sorcery of Thorns and The Tiger At Midnight to come out, they both sounds so good! I just finished reading The Waking Forest and it was so different from every other YA fantasy I’ve read. I love that it’s a standalone too! I hope you’ll enjoy it! 😊

I read The Waking Forest and really enjoyed it. You are right, it’s completely different from anything else out there. It’s a polarizing read but I thought it was lovely.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it, I did too! It was so refreshing and engaging to read. I get why it’s so polarizing, but I think we need more strange, unusual, polarizing books. It keeps things interesting 😊

Oh yes, DOTC has the most beautiful cover! I love books that don’t feature “real-life things” ahaha if that makes sense. Just books covers that seem animated/painted/drawn?

Nice list, I’ve only heard of a few of them. They do all look good and have great covers.
