Our Next Five Star Read Predictions

We’ve seen this floating around on Booktube and blogs, although I’m not sure who started it, but we thought we’d give it a shot.  These are some books that we predict to rate five stars – we’ll revisit this post in a few months and let you all know what we though and if we were right!

Beneath the Citadel by Destiny Soria
We have Destiny visiting this month at the TBR and Beyond group and I’m really excited for it.  I’m in love with the cover and the story sounds really cool.

Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller
The Daughter of the Pirate King duology is one of my favorites of all-time.  I just adore the banter, so when I heard that Tricia was writing a book about female vikings – you better believe I jumped out of my seat a little!! Yas!

Internment by Samira Ahmed
I’m dying to read this one.  It sounds like a really eye-opening and hard hitting book that will likely not only tear out my heart but teach me something along the way.

Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend
Nevermoor was a top read for me last year and I can’t wait to get to the next book in this amazing series.

Descendant of the Crane of the Crane by Joan He
Joan will be visiting the TBR and Beyond group in May, I’m beyond thrilled.  I knew the second I saw this cover and read the synopsis that I wanted to spotlight the book for a group read in May!

City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book so I am excited to start it.

The Girl King by Mimi Yu
From the first time I read about this book I’ve been excited about it. Plus it has a wolf shapeshifter, like come on!

The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin
I am buddy reading this book with a couple of friends in January and I am so excited to finally read something from this author.

Grey Sister by Mark Lawrence
I adored the first book and can’t wait to join Nonna again.
